Indiana Mounted Regulators News

Congratulations to Woody Tee Hancock, (Woody), and owner Connie Ricketts along with Hes One Peppy Pine, (Martian), and owner Marcy Luttrell  for their top ten CMSA HIGH POINT HORSE finishes in the 2011

Our first shoot of 2012 is fast approaching, remember this year a few things will be different then in the past, registration begins at 8:00 and closes at 10:00 there will be a $10 late fee charge to anyone that wants to register after 10:00, to avoid the late charges you can pre register on line at CMSAevnts.com. Also anyone that doesn’t want to enter the main match but just run expositions must be at least be an associate CMSA member, these folks need to register first thing in the morning and attend the mandatory safety meeting. This year we’re in the process of giving year end awards to our members based on points along with an award to the members that compete in all Indiana Mounted Regulator’s matches. You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity by not attending the first match of the year.

Preparations for the Hoosier Horse Fair held at the Indiana State Fair Grounds on April 13 thru 15 are starting to come together. Partnering with the Indiana Rough Riders we will be putting on five expositions runs, our Vice President Terry Martin along with the President of the Rough Riders Bryan McDonald will be conducting lectures on all aspects of mounted shooting through out the weekend, and the two clubs will share a booth promoting mounted shooting in the state of Indiana, we’ll be displaying videos, handing out free information, and answering questions or at least visiting with all our horse friends through out the state. So if you’re in the neighborhood please stop by, and we will be sure to put you to work.
